Built with A+ Grade cells, this 12.8V 628Ah lead-to- lithium battery supports high-rate discharge up to 250A, making it ideal for RVs, off-grid solar storage, and commercial backup power. With a cycle life of over 6,000 cycles and MSDS certification, it not only boasts excellent thermal stability but also provides a reliable and maintenance-free energy supply. Furthermore, seamless integration with a battery management system (BMS) can be achieved via the bluetooth communication.

Q: What is the expected lifespan of a 12.8V LiFePO₄ battery?
A: LiFePO₄ has a very low self-discharge rate (about 1–3% per month). Under standard conditions, our Grade A cells deliver 4,000–6,000 cycles at 80% DOD. Even with one cycle per day, the battery lasts over 10 years.
Q: Can a 12.8V LiFePO₄ battery directly replace the same capacity lead-acid battery?
A: Yes, but simple technical verification is recommended before installation. Due to similar nominal voltage and standard physical dimensions, it is often a drop-in replacement. However, electrical aspects to note include: charging voltage must be closely matched; charger compatibility; and LiFePO₄ batteries cannot be charged below 0°C.
Q: Can a lead-acid charger charge a LiFePO₄ battery?
A: A lead-acid charger can often be used, but it is not recommended as a long-term solution. To maximize battery life, it is recommended to use a dedicated lithium iron phosphate battery charger.
Q: How do I calculate the actual usable capacity of a 12.8V 100Ah battery?
A: To calculate usable capacity, you must not only consider Ah but also the energy (Wh) and the Depth of Discharge (DOD). The formula is:
Usable energy (Wh) = Nominal voltage (V) × Nominal capacity (Ah) × Depth of discharge (DOD)
or our 12.8V 100Ah battery within the recommended 80%–90% DOD range:
12.8V × 100Ah × 90% = 1152 Wh (1.152 kWh)
