A non-rechargeable 3-volt lithium manganese dioxide ( Li-MnO2 ) coin cell, the CR1025 provides high energy density and stable voltage. Unlike traditional zinc-carbon batteries, its chemical system uses lithium as the negative active material and MnO2 as the positive, delivering a higher 3V output.
